Q Hey, I was looking into mineral make-up. Can you tell me what the difference is between mineral make up and regular?
Let's start with why mineral makeup was invented.
Mineral makeup was created for women who want a cosmetic that has no unnatural ingredients.
If you read the labels on traditional cosmetics, you'll find long chemical-type names that really are chemicals! Our skin is the largest organ of our body, and it absorbs anything we put on it. This means that when you rub on some lotion, whatever ingredients are in that lotion will absorb into the skin, and possibly sink deeply into our tissues and organs. That said, mineral makeup itself is made up of (yes, you guessed it!) minerals.
