Each Naked Minerals mineral makeup foundation is comprised of two shades, warm and cool. Choose which shade is best for your skin tone, or of you prefer, feel free to mix the two shades for a neutral tone.
Some women will use one mineral makeup foundation shade as a base application and the second shade to highlight above eyes, cheekbones and chin. Others mix the two shades to create a neutral palette, and then highlight with Naked Bronzer or Color Wash Cheek n Lip.
Naked Minerals mineral makeup foundation does not have to match your skintone perfectly, unlike traditional cosmetics. It naturally reflects light and warms with the skin appearing as though you're wearing nothing at all!
To apply, load the natural bristle Kabuki Brush with foundation (one shade or both) and apply using a "polishing" or "buffing" action. Don't be afraid to use a little pressure. Many women will use a circling motion to apply the mineral foundation, but it doesn't matter if you choose to use up-and-down strokes or whatever! Naked Minerals mineral makeup is very forgiving, and you will be able to achieve professional-looking coverage even if you've never used cosmetics before.
